Today Trustlaw featured an interview with RWI's president, Daniel Kaufmann, conducted last week during the International Anti-Corruption Conference in Brasilia. Kaufmann talks about next steps for the global transparency movement and why data is useless to hold governments accountable and empower citizens unless it's easy to understand and interpret. He tells Trustlaw: "So far (transparency data) is disorganised and anarchic and at some point the chicken will come back to roost because if all of this information that is being produced becomes ‘zombie information’ ... there may be a backlash.”
